Name: Joe Lenton BA(Hons)
Qualifications: Higher Diploma in Contemporary Music (Distinction)
Joe has been teaching guitar for nearly 10 years to people of all ages and abilities.
He currently works in Norwich giving individual and group private lessons
and is the tutor for the Sound Dimension Blues and Rock Guitar Academies.
He studied guitar, theory and the music business at the ACM in Guildford and came
away with a Higher Diploma in Contemporary Music with Distinction. Since leaving
the ACM he has become a member of the prestigious
RGT (Registry of Guitar Tutors)
and is qualified to teach their guitar syllabus all the way to Grade 8.

He has jammed with rock greats such as Pete Friesen (Alice Cooper world tour guitarist)
Mark Richardson (Skunk Anansie drummer) and Bruce Dickinson (Little Angels guitarist)
and performed both in England and abroad.
Despite specialising in music theory and advanced rock soloing, including lightning fast
sweep-picking and 2-handed techniques, he is perfectly comfortable performing and
teaching a range of styles, including blues, jazz, pop, classical, folk and metal. He also plays
both electric and acoustic guitar.
